E.A.T. in the Hidden Gardens 2024

We are thrilled to announce that we will be honoring a multi-talented couple at our summer E.A.T. event this year: award-winning actor and director John Slattery, known for his roles in television (Mad Men, Veep, Desperate Housewives), and theater (Spotlight), and consummate actress Talia Balsam (Mad Men, L.A. Doctors, Without a Trace, Homeland).


John spent more than two years during the pandemic as one of our parking lot masters. He assured the safety of our recipients through the pouring rain, baking heat, sleet and snow during Wednesday afternoon distribution. Talia has been a bright and steady packer, faithfully coming every Tuesday morning.


Please join us in honoring these Springs residents who have committed their time and energy to our pantry. Be sure to see them as they open Bay Street Theater’s season with a reboot of the Broadway classic The Subject Was Roses in Sag Harbor. You can find tickets at baystreet.org.
